This course is your passport to the world of scuba diving. Our PADI certification is accepted world wide. This is the first certification level and can serve as a step-up to many types of exciting and adventurous types of diving.
In many cases, the 3 days can be compressed down by making sure you've read your book and completed your knowledge reviews before you arrive. Depending on the student, many times all the pool skills can be completed in 1 session. In cases like this, the class takes about 2 1/2 days. Want a 2 day class? Want to start right now? Book, dive tables, certification card, and the dive trips. Upon completion, you will be certified to dive with us for the rest of your vacation, and of course at thousands of dive centers around the world. |

Your class consists of several sessions and spans over 3 days. Your class sessions can be custom designed to meet the needs of your schedule, but in most cases it is set up like this: Day 1, Morning: Classroom and first 3 chapters and knowledge reviews from your book. Day 1, Afternoon: Pool Session I 2 and 3, begin working on skills. Day 2, Morning: Book Modules 4 & 5 and completion of knowledge reviews. Take Final Exam! Day 2, Afternoon: Open Water checkout dives #1 & #2. Day 3, Morning: Pool Session 4 and 5, finish skills. Day 3, Afternoon: Open Water Checkout Dives #3, & #4. |
