The starboard crane area is on the aft half of the ship and is parallel to the well deck of the ship. The depth here ranges from 75-100 feet because you can reach the top of the crane in the 70 foot range and then the base of the crane is where the gunnel of the wreck is.
The cranes are especially interesting areas because the spires have very colorful corals growing on them and you can swim under the crane arms from one side of the ship to the other and see vivid pinks, neon greens and bright purple sponges and hard corals.
An Advanced Open Water certification is recommended but not required for diving this area, but is also good for less experienced divers who don't wish to be in an over-head environment. Don't forget your gloves for the descent line.
