Congratulations to Don Downingand Andrew Solomon, who both hail from Key West, Tom O. from West Palm Beach, and Gary Hammond from Mt. Dora, and Chris Adamsfrom Californiafor successfully becoming new PADI Instructors! This month we had 3 OWSI’s and 2 AI’s! Chris is a member of the Rainbow Reef Dive Center Intern program who was completing the next step in the program.Under the careful direction of Rainbow Reef PADI Course Director Ken Wilhelm, our candidates navigated the variouschallenges of Confined Water and Open Water presentations, skill demonstrations, and written examinationsduring the IE.The written examinations covered areas such as Physics, PADI Standards, and Equipment more! Additionally, ourcandidates had to exhibit a rescue demonstration involving an unconcious diver at the surface. Congratulations are also in order for PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Jason Nocks and Bill Findleywho completedthe IDC Staff Instructor course. As a part of his Staff Instructor courseJason and Billwere active in the preparation and evaluation of the candidates during the IDC. We have attached a few shots from the IE that we snapped as they were going through. Congratulations to all!

Congradulation to Chris adams for becoming a Instructor. I dove with you guys in February and Chris came that week. I got to talk with him everyday as he was learning the ropes. It’s exciting to see a young guy going for what he wants to do. Thanks for a great time and I may see you again next Feb or March. Good Luck Chris. Brian
